asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the present position regarding the acquisition and division of the Hennessy estate, Outhrath, Cahir, County Tipperary.

The Land Commission had certain dealing which were on the point of being finalised with Mr. Andrew Hennessy for an area of 111 acres. Just before conclusion, Mr. Hennessy died in March last and methods to resolve the situation are under consideration.

asked the Minister for Lands what is the present position regarding the acquisition and division of the Moran estate, Pass, Clonmel, County Tipperary.

The owner's objection to the acquisition of this 216 acre property was recently allowed in respect of 128 acres and disallowed in respect of the balance, 88 acres. The question of the price to be paid for this latter area now falls to be settled.

asked the Minister for Lands what is the present position regarding the division of the Charteris estate, Cahir, County Tipperary; and how long the Land Commission now have this estate in their hands.

Of a total of some 816 acres acquired by the Land Commission on this estate in June, 1962, about 277 acres have been disposed of to date. It is not possible to state when the balance, namely, 539 acres, will be allocated but the matter is being expedited as much as possible.
