The total net receipt from Turnover Tax from 1st January, 1965 to 31st December, 1965 was £14,084,000 approximately.
As turnover tax chargeable in respect of transactions in any month is normally payable in the following month, the figure given represents the approximate amount paid in respect of transactions in the 12 months ended 30th November, 1965.
