Vol. 220 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Telephone Applications.

51.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone will be installed for a person (name supplied).

Owing to the number of older applications held and the serious storm damage recently sustained by the system, it is unlikely that this application, which is for a residence line and was made in May last, can have attention for at least six months.

52.

(South Tipperary) asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when an applicant (name supplied) who applied for a telephone in 1962 and paid £60 as a five year rental advance in September, 1965 is likely to receive service.

Service will be provided within the next few weeks.
