The Official Export List does not contain a separate heading for sows and in respect of pigs distinguishes only between (a) fat pigs and (b) store pigs and bonhams. There were 4,421 fat pigs exported in the 11 months January-November, and 4,072 in the three months September-November, 1965. The corresponding numbers of store pigs and bonhams exported were respectively 214 and 99. The data for December, 1965, are not yet available.
