asked the Minister for Health if he is aware of the urgent necessity of making a grant to the Cork Branch of the National Association for Cerebral Palsy, Limited for the purpose of extending their premises; and that if funds are not made available the Association will find it necessary to refuse treatment and schooling to many physically handicapped children; and when the necessary grant is likely to be made.

Mr. Barrett
Mr. O'Malley
I am aware of, and appreciate, the excellent work being done by the Cork Branch of the National Association for Cerebral Palsy for affected children in the Cork area. The proposals for the provision of new premises for this work have been under consideration by my Department in consultation with the National Organisation for Rehabilitation. I hope to be in a position, in the near future, to convey my decision to the Association regarding the provision of a grant in relation to the treatment clinic.
