I do not feel that this statement needs elaboration. My information is that the authorities of the schools to whom it was addressed are clear in their minds as to what is involved. The next step will be the holding of meetings at local level when matters of detail can be discussed. I will be represented at these meetings.
Is the Minister aware that the people involved have no indications as to who is to take the initiative and will he indicate now who will take the initiative in getting the people to move together?
I should prefer the initiative to come locally, and in some areas this has happened. In the very near future, in the areas where this has not happened, I shall take the initiative.
