Vol. 220 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Company's Transactions.

22.

asked the Minister for Justice if his Department has received complaints concerning certain transactions relating to a company (name supplied); if so, what action he proposes to take in the matter; and if he will take steps to warn the general public on any aspect of dealings with this firm which may have come to the notice of the authorities.

No complaint has been received in my Department concerning any transactions of the company in question.

Would the Minister make more inquiries from the Gárda authorities in this matter?

I certainly shall.

And ascertain whether certain individuals have already made complaints and that the hands of the Gárda are more or less tied in this matter?

We shall take action.

Does the Minister agree that this could be a very serious matter?

I do.

Question No. 23 postponed.
