asked the Minister for Lands when lands in the possession of the Land Commission at Ballycastle town, County Mayo, will be divided.
With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 45 and 46 together.
Of an area of some 100 acres at present on hands of the Land Commission in this area, it is expected that about 30 acres will be allotted this spring. Arrangements for the formulation of a scheme for the division of the remainder of the lands are being pushed forward as rapidly as possible.
Proceedings are at present in progress for the compulsory acquisition or voluntary purchase of some 140 acres in this district.
