Members of the Defence Forces in the category mentioned by the Deputy have been granted the same increases in retired pay or pensions as were given to similar categories of State pensioners. The question of a further increase on the lines referred to by the Deputy could be considered only in the context of general pension increases.
What would it cost to give that increase?
