asked the Minister for Local Government what is the present position regarding the sanctioning of a sewerage scheme for the area of Tonbwee, Castleisland, County Kerry.

A preliminary report on the extension of the Castleisland sewerage scheme to the Tonbwee area was received in my Department on the 15th December, 1965, and is at present under examination.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he has received a preliminary report on Castlemaine regional water supply scheme from Kerry County Council; and, if so, when he expects to give approval to this report.

The consulting engineer's preliminary report on this scheme was received in my Department on 17th December, 1965. The local authority were asked on 26th January, 1966, to furnish further information in relation to this report and a reply is awaited.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he has yet reached a decision regarding the applications for loans by Kerry County Council for the Ardfert and Mid-Kerry regional water supply schemes; and, if not, when he expects to sanction these loans.

I am not in a position to say when the applications for loans by Kerry County Council for the Ardfert and Mid-Kerry regional water supply schemes will be sanctioned.

Is the Minister aware that these have been with the Department since last March?

The reply is still the same.

It will be. They have no money.
