asked the Minister for Education if he will state in respect of the most recent date for which figures are available the number of students from (a) Dublin city and environs, (b) Cork city and environs, (c) Galway city and environs, (d) Limerick city and environs, and (e) within a 30 mile radius of (i) Dublin, (ii) Cork, (iii) Galway, and (iv) Limerick, who are attending (1) primary schools in the area, (2) full time vocational school in the area, (3) secondary schools in the area, (4) University College, Dublin, (5) University College, Cork, (6) University College, Galway, (7) Trinity College, Dublin, (8) The Royal College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Physicians, and, (9) part-time University courses.

The relevant information, in so far as it is available, is being furnished in the form of a tabular statement which, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I intend to circulate for inclusion in the Official Report.
