asked the Minister for Education the number of scholarships secured by children in (1) one-teacher schools, (2) two-teacher schools, (3) three-teacher schools, (4) four-teacher schools and (5) all other schools in each of the years 1951-52 to 1964-65.

The information requested by the Deputy is available only in respect of the years 1957-58 to 1964-65 inclusive.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to circulate with the Official Report a statement giving the information in respect of these years.

The following is a table showing the distribution of scholarships in respect of the years 1957-58 to 1964-65:
