The application for the loan referred to by the Deputy was received in my Department on 15th December last. The application is under examination, and it is hoped to give a decision on it in the near future.

Applications for sanction to a loan of £33,000 to finance the erection of 20 cottages under the small farmers scheme was received in my Department on 15th December. The council were requested to submit the necessary technical information to enable the application to be examined and their submission in this respect is awaited.
