Vol. 221 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Fish Fingers Consignment.

31.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if it is a fact that a CIE lorry left Galway on Wednesday morning 16th February, 1966, with a fourteen ton load of fish fingers from the Bord Iascaigh Mhara factory and returned to Galway the same night with the load still on the lorry, as it was not accepted in Dublin as fit for human consumption; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

No. I am informed that part of a consignment of 10 tons of fish fingers delivered on 16th February was, by agreement with the consignee, returned to Galway for repacking because the consignee was not satisfied that it was sufficiently uniform in size, and that it was re-delivered on 18th February, 1966.
