Mr. Sweetman

asked the Taoiseach if he will give in respect of each State-sponsored body, company or other organisation for which he is responsible, the name of any director not included in a reply of 24th February, 1966; the respective dates on which each such person first and last became a director; the method by which such person became a director; and, if elected by the shareholders, the number of shares held in such company by any, and if so which Minister; and the percentage of such shareholding to the total shareholding carrying voting rights in such company.

The Taoiseach

The Reverend Donal O'Sullivan, S.J., was appointed Director of An Chomhairle Ealaíon as from the 5th July, 1965, having been first appointed to that post as from the 5th July, 1960. In accordance with paragraph 3(1) of the Schedule to the Arts Act, 1951, the appointment was made by the President, on the advice of the Government.
