My Department will sanction a grant towards the cost of the erection of the proposed new Doohoma national school as soon as the necessary title documents to the school site have been received. I am not in a position to say when work on the erection of the new school will begin.

While my investigations in this case are not yet completed all the evidence available to me strongly suggests that the educational interests of the children of this area demand that provision should be made for them in a larger school.
