asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will give details of the land or buildings owned by the State and used for radio or television purposes.

The main properties concerned are the sound broad-casting studios in the General Post Office, Dublin, the site of the Dublin medium-wave transmitter in McKee Barracks, Dublin, the site of the Cork medium-wave transmitter in the former Cork jail at Sunday's Well, Cork, and the sites of the television transposers at Cappoquin, County Waterford, and Corbally Wood, County Kilkenny. In addition, the buildings for the microwave television repeater stations at Crissard, County Laois, Kilduff, County Tipperary, Barravakeen, County Waterford, and Kildorrery, County Cork, are Stateowned. The authority also has rights of way over certain properties owned by the Department of Lands (Forestry Division).
