asked the Minister for Local Government when sanction was sought for the loan of £500,000 for SDA purposes raised by resolution in April 1965 at a meeting of Dublin County Council; if he will state the amount(s) issued from the Local Loans Fund on foot of this loan and the dates on which issues were made.
Following is the information:—
It is understood from Dublin County Council that no resolution was passed in April 1965 regarding the raising of a loan of £500,000 for the purpose of making house-purchase loans. Application was made by the council on 16th September, 1965 for sanction to a loan of £500,000 for this purpose. Loans sanctioned on foot of that application and issues therefrom were as follows:—
