asked the Minister for Local Government the number of applicants who have been disqualified from receiving the increased housing grants granted retrospectively on the grounds that the floor area of their houses exceeded 1,400 square feet; in how many of these cases the floor area was over 1,400 but under 1,500 square feet; and if he will take steps to permit these applicants whose houses were within the old area limit to receive the grant.
