asked the Minister for Health whether it is proposed to proceed with the establishment of a post-graduate medical school at St. Kevin's Hospital, Dublin.

There are no proposals at present under consideration for the establishment of a post-graduate medical school at St. Kevin's Hospital, Dublin.

asked the Minister for Health whether in view of the level of work carried out at St. Kevin's Hospital, Dublin it is proposed to increase the number of consultant medical and surgical personnel at this hospital.

I am considering proposals by the Dublin Health Authority for additional appointments to the consultant staff of St. Kevin's Hospital. I have recently informed the health authority that I am prepared to agree to the appointment of an additional obstetrician/gynaecologist at the hospital.

asked the Minister for Health if he is satisfied that the pathology laboratory facilities at St. Kevin's Hospital are adequate for the needs of the total requirements of the Dublin Health Authority medical services.

Dublin Health Authority consider that additional pathological laboratory facilities are needed to meet the full requirements of their services. I understand that they have under consideration proposals for expansion of these facilities which they intend to put before me.
