asked the Minister for Local Government the amount of capital moneys allocated to (a) Dublin Corporation and (b) each of the remaining local authorities who are housing authorities in the country for each of the years 1964-65, 1965-66, and 1966-67 for each of the following purposes: (i) construction of local authority houses directly or on behalf of the local authorities concerned, (ii) advances of loans for purchase of houses, e.g. SDA loans, and (iii) supplementary housing grants.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Housing Finances.
I would refer the Deputy to my reply to Question No. 146 of 27th April in which I set out particulars of the housing capital allocated to each housing authority for the current financial year. No corresponding allocations were made for the years 1964-65 and 1965-66. Global figures of capital provided in these years are however available and I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to circulate with the Official Report, a statement setting out the total allocations for 1966-67 for the housing purposes referred to by the Deputy, together with the total amounts of capital provided under the same headings within each of the two previous financial years.
Following is the statement:—

asked the Minister for Local Government the number and value of applications from local authorities now before his Department awaiting approval of expenditure on house-building or house-financing operations; the reason for the delay in sanctioning such applications; and what steps he will take to expedite house-building and house-financing operations.
