The question of the prices to be fixed for wheat and feeding barley of the 1967 harvest is under consideration. I will make an announcement in the matter as soon as possible.
Can the Minister say what he means by "as soon as possible"? We have this every year, and eventually the price is announced in the late spring when it is quite impossible for the farmers to do anything about it. For the life of me, I cannot see why it is not possible to announce it now.
It will be announced in plenty of time this year.
Will the Minister make the announcement to this House or to a group of Fianna Fáil farmers?
I may go to Bantry and make it down there.
