It is intended that provision for an experimental scheme of clearways on two routes in Dublin will be made in temporary rules under the Road Traffic Act, 1961, to be made by the Garda Commissioner with my consent. Full details will be made available to the public well in advance of the coming into operation of the rules but, as the draft rules have not yet been submitted to me, I am not in a position at this stage to give details.
