Vol. 226 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Stillorgan (Dublin) Public Services.

11.

asked the Minister for Local Government the reasons why the public services at Rathmore Avenue, Stillorgan, County Dublin have not yet been taken in charge by Dublin County Council; what works, if any, remain outstanding; the cost thereof; and when the services will be taken in charge.

It is understood from Dublin County Council that the services in question have not been taken in charge because the following works are considered to be necessary to complete the development: (a) Completion of footpaths to the site boundaries, (b) Repair of concrete roads and footpaths, (c) Provision of road nameplates, (d) Levelling and seeding of grass areas, (e) Erection of bollards and dwarf walls, (f) Repair, improvements and cleaning of foul sewers, and (g) Some other minor items.

The estimated cost of these works is £658. This amount has now been lodged with the council on behalf of the developers and arrangements are in hands to take Rathmore Avenue in charge.
