I can only say that where the fixing of prices for cash crops is my responsibility, I shall endeavour to announce them as early as possible each year.
The Minister does agree that early ploughing is most desirable?
I absolutely agree.
Then will the Minister say why, year after year, this announcement is postponed until the ploughing has been practically done?
I cannot say about the past but I hope to be able to announce it early in the coming year.
