As the Dáil has already been informed, it is the normal practice for State Bodies to invest with the Exchequer moneys surplus to their immediate requirements and to withdraw those moneys as required. The receipts under the heading "other borrowings" in the Exchequer statement referred to consist mainly of such temporary investment by State Bodies. Full details of the receipts, and of repayment made, in the period referred to by the Deputy are contained in a tabular statement which I propose, a Cheann Comhairle, with your permission to circulate with the Official Report.
