Approval was given last week to the first section, comprising 34 houses, of the proposed 68 house scheme at Thurles, and the submission of building proposals is awaited. Plans for the second section of the scheme will be discussed with the housing authority's technical advisers shortly, and a decision on them will be given as quickly as possible.
