It is not possible to give a date on which operations under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945, will commence.
The rivers Dalgan and Clare referred to are in the Corrib catchment area. I cannot say when a scheme for that catchment under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945, will be prepared.
asked the Minister for Finance if he will state when drainage operations will be started on the River Moy in County Mayo, and if he will take steps to have an immediate survey made of the course of this river, so that all necessary preliminaries will be dealt with at an early date, in order to cause no undue delay to actual drainage operations.
I cannot at this stage give any indication as to when it will be possible to undertake the survey of the Moy catchment area.
