I would refer the Deputy to my reply to the question by Deputy Moore on 2nd November, 1966 in relation to this matter.
In accordance with the terms of section 5 of the Electricity Supply Board (Superannuation) Act, 1942, I find, after consultation with the Minister for Finance, that the scheme, as submitted to me, cannot be confirmed until certain modifications therein are made. Further consultations on the matter are taking place with the ESB and the Minister for Finance. It is expected that the matter can be brought to a satisfactory conclusion at an early date, when I hope to be in a position to sanction an amending superannuation scheme.
