I assume that the question relates to the revenue expenditure on health services, including mental health services, towards which grants are payable from the Vote for my Department.
The total gross expenditure was £22,300,900 for the year ended 31st March, 1962. Receipts, other than grants from the Health Vote, amounted to £3,041,900 and the net expenditure was, accordingly, £19,259,000. Corresponding figures for the year ended 31st March, 1966, were £35,203,900, £4,148,400 and £31,055,500 respectively.
