I am aware that there is an urgent need for rehousing in this case. Unfortunately, there is a serious difficulty in regard to access to the plot on which it is proposed to build the cottage. I am informing the council that I will raise no objection to their proposal if they are satisfied, on the advice of the appropriate officers of the council, that the legal and other practical problems arising from the limited access can be resolved effectively.
