asked the Minister for Lands what is the position regarding the Hession Estate, Garrafrauns, Tuam, County Galway.

Whilst there are no proceedings for resumption of this small holdings, comprising 18 acres, the circumstances affecting the lands are known to the Land Commission and the property is being kept under review.

78.

asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission have any plans to acquire and divide the lands that are at present being set on the 11 months system in the village of Farm, Williamstown, County Galway.

There are no proceedings for the acquisition of any properties in the Williamstown area but I understand that some holdings in the district are on record for enquiry by the Land Commission. For County Galway as a whole, proceedings are at present in progress for the compulsory acquisition or voluntary purchase of upwards of 7,000 acres.
