Vol. 227 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Employment at Kerry Forestry Scheme.

84.

asked the Minister for Lands if the Forestry Division of his Department will give special consideration to persons from the Clonkeen and Clydagh areas near Killarney for employment in the forestry development scheme about to commence in the Clydagh Valley, County Kerry, having regard to the fact that the emigration rate from those areas is high and that a road exists through the Clydagh Valley from the main Killarney-Cork road at Clonkeen to within approximately half a mile of the site of the proposed forestry development.

I would refer the Deputy to my reply to a similar question on 15th March, 1967.
