Vol. 227 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Stationery Office Supplies.

121.

andMr. Cluskey asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that the Stationery Office were previously supplied by National Board and Paper Mills Limited and Killeen Paper Mills Limited; but that orders have now been cut back; and where they are getting their supplies from now.

Stationery Office purchases of non-proprietary articles are made on the basis of competitive tenders and are related to requirements. There has been no change in this procedure.

Is the Minister not in a position to say where supplies come from now?

If these firms have lost business, they have lost it to other firms in the State?

Is the material manufactured in the state or only distributed in the State?

It is manufactured in the State.

In what part of the State is the material manufactured?

You would have to look in a southerly direction.
