asked the Minister for Lands when it is proposed to divide the O'Connor estate of Park, Knocknagree, Mallow, County Cork among the smallholders in the area.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 17 and 18 together.

Possession of both of the properties mentioned, aggregating 214 acres, passed to the Land Commission last year. Pending completion of the necessary inquiries on the ground, it is not possible to forecast just now when composite resale proposals will be formulated but there will be no avoidable delay.

19.

asked the Minister for Lands what the Land Commission propose to do with the remainder of an estate (particulars supplied) in County Cork.

With the exception of a small plot containing one acre and dwellinghouse, all the lands on this 77 acre property were allocated last month to local smallholders. The house and one acre plot left will be offered for sale by public auction in due course.
