Sanction issued last month to a loan of £33,000 to cover the first 20 houses being built by the council under this scheme. I understand that their immediate programme comprises 40 houses, that work has been completed or is in progress on 24 houses, that sites have been acquired for the other 16, and that further borrowing proposals will be submitted as required by the expansion of the programme.
