asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce what steps have been taken to promote the sale of Irish-made Christmas cards this year.

Apart from promotions mounted by the publishers themselves and by trade interests generally, the National Development Association, which is a merger of the former National Buy Irish Committee and the NAIDA, has undertaken a nation-wide campaign to promote the sale of Irish-made Christmas cards this year.
