The extension of postal voting facilities to lighthouse keepers would require legislation. I am not, at present, in a position to say whether such legislation will be introduced.
Would the Minister not agree that such legislation would be justifiable, in the light of the fact that practically all lighthouse keepers are disfranchised in the situation as it stands?
It might be helpful and it might not.
