asked the Minister for Local Government (a) the number of planning appeals submitted to his Department from County Meath since the passing of the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act, 1963, (b) the number granted, (c) the number refused and (d) the number not yet dealt with.

The number of valid planning appeals received from County Meath in the period from 1st October, 1964, to 31st January, 1968, was 58. Permissions were granted in 18 cases and refused in 15. Appeals were withdrawn in 13 cases and the remaining 12 have not yet been determined.
