Vol. 232 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Sheep Dipping Stations.

16.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries whether he is aware that sheep dipping stations in the Kenmare-Sneem-Waterville areas in County Kerry are in a very poor state of repair, and if he will ask the county council to improve these stations.

Following a survey carried out by my Department, Kerry County Council has recently erected three new sheep dipping stations and repaired and improved a number of others in the area mentioned by the Deputy. In addition the council has purchased three mobile dipping baths for use in the county generally.

If the Deputy will indicate to my Department which stations he has in mind, I will have the matter examined.
