No proposal has been received from Kerry County Council for a loan to meet the cost of cottage repairs. The cost of work of this kind is properly a charge on current revenue for which local authorities generally are expected to provide in their current budget. In this connection, I would refer the Deputy to my reply to Questions Nos. 7, 8, and 9 of 25th October last.
