It was expected that the report of the Institute of Public Administration on the placement and guidance functions of the Employment Service would be available early this year. The Institute have now completed their draft report. This will be considered next week at a meeting of the Steering Committee, under whose direction the Institute team have been working. I hope to receive the final report shortly afterwards.
