I have seen a press report of the statement referred to. I do not accept the prediction in the statement that there is a real and pressing danger that the salmon stocks of the State might be eliminated within ten years, but I recognise that certain problems exist in regard to exploitation of and possible damage to salmon stocks. These problems are receiving my attention.
