No portion of these lands has been sold. Tenders have been invited for the purchase of the State's interest in two small plots of the lands comprising in all about three perches, statute measures, situated in the area known as the Long Range alongside the accommodation road leading from the East Gate to the River Lee. Tenders will be received in my Department up to noon on Friday, 15th November, 1968.
An application from Cork County Council for permission to acquire a narrow strip of the lands for widening the main road through Ballincollig is under consideration. There are no proposals for the disposal of any other portions of these lands.
