Certain manual and allied workers already come under the scheme of conciliation and arbitration for the Civil Service and, therefore, have access to an independent tribunal. As regards other manual and allied employees of the State the intention is that the proposed amending legislation on industrial relations will provide access to the Labour Court for such workers.
