asked the Minister for Lands the position regarding the Thomas Keaveney estate, Lisrevish, Williamstown, County Galway.

The Land Commission have no proceedings for the acquisition of this holding which, it is understood, was advertised for sale recently. Inquiries in the matter are being arranged.

96.

asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission have any plans for the acquisition of the Horseman Estate of 450 acres, at Feamore, Eyrecourt, County Galway.

Proceedings were instituted recently for compulsory acquisition of an area of 61 acres on this estate. The appropriate statutory notices have only just been published and will be served on the owner at an early date.

asked the Minister for Lands the position regarding the Farrell Estate, Rosbeary, Ballymoe, County Galway.

asked the Minister for Lands the position regarding the Hurley Estate, Corlach, Ballymoe, County Galway.

With your permission, a Leas-Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take questions Nos. 97 and 98 together.

These two properties, aggregating 144 acres, have been treated as a unit for resale purposes. A composite scheme has been formulated for a number of holdings in the locality— and it is expected that allocation of the lands will be feasible in the coming spring.
