Money for amenity grants is provided from my Department's Vote and not from the Local Loans Fund. During the twelve months ended 31st December, 1968, payments of amenity grants amounted to £30,979.
During this twelve months no amenity grant was paid in County Dublin because no payment fell due in respect of any scheme for which a grant had been sought. There are, however, four applications for grants from this area under consideration in my Department.
