The official estimate of income from tourism, travel, etc. for 1968 has not yet been compiled. The methods used in compiling the annual estimates are described in an article "Numbers and Expenditure of Visitors to Ireland and of Irish Visitors Abroad —Methods of Estimation used in Annual Inquiries" published in the December, 1959, issue of the Irish Trade Journal and Statistical Bulletin, to which I would refer the Deputy.
