I am aware of 105 new industry projects at the planning stage, i.e., approved for grant but not yet commenced production. These are expected to employ 5,500 persons in the first year of operation and 11,300 persons at full production. In addition, 58 small industry projects are also at the planning stage. The employment content of these is estimated at 500 persons at full production, which is expected to be realised in a relatively short period.
