The Land Commission have received an application for their consent to the subdivision of the holding of Mr. Patrick Gleeson at Monagormley; they have granted the application subject to the usual conditions.

asked the Minister for Lands the position regarding the Dominic Nolan Estate at Boherbannagh, Tomard, Ballinasloe, County Galway.
Proceedings were instituted by the Land Commission some time ago for compulsory acquisition of this 28-acre holding which had been purchased at a public auction in January, 1968. An objection lodged by the new owner was heard in open court last November and December and was allowed subject to certain conditions. Compliance with these conditions will have the effect of terminating the acquisition proceedings.
